THE BATTY AND BESERK BEHAVIOUR OF BUBA GALADIMA.

Those who speak the English language very well, refer to frustration as a weird feeling, occasioned by annoyance, due to the inability to change or achieve something. Nothing demonstrates that definition better than the exhibited attitude of Engineer Buba Galadima, the man that was politically destroyed by destiny.

Those who speak the English language very well, refer to frustration as a weird feeling, occasioned by annoyance, due to the inability to change or achieve something. Nothing demonstrates that definition better than the exhibited attitude of Engineer Buba Galadima, the man that was politically destroyed by destiny.
Engineer Buba Galadima, a former spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council, has called on the Federal Government, or better still, President Muhammadu Buhari, to appoint him as the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).  I had to read the story several times from different sources, before I came to terms with Buba Galadima’s depression.
One needs not be a psychiatrist, to deduce that Buba’s behavior is terribly abnormal, socially, politically and pragmatically. It is absolutely correct, to say Buba is in a state of serious mental illness.
The conclusion of insanity became compulsory, when I read where he said:
“We don’t need the government to fund INEC at all, because we can request donor agencies that will bring materials and pay election officials, so that we can have an independent election. If they can’t do that, let them appoint me chairman of INEC, I will get funding for INEC. I don’t need one kobo from the federal government of Nigeria. We don’t need any security person; either police or military to look after our elections”.
I had to chew a little kola nut, to ensure I was awake and not dreaming, because it was the same Buba Galadima that once said, “Even if Atiku robs the Central bank, I will elect him over the satanic idiotic retardate called Buhari. My mind was quick to come with a question, Is Buba seeking permission to accomplish that which he is justifying in Atiku?
He promised to get the funding from donors. He doesn’t need a kobo and doesn’t need police or any military presence, in the discharge of this heinous and treacherous assignment. Hahahahaha! I still hope this is one of those stories planted in the media by the professorial liar abroad.
But then, Buba can behave any how because of his resentment, particularly if we go down the memory lane, where in an interview with the Premium Times, he was asked, PT: Some say you turned against the president because he never gave you an appointment, is it true? Galadima: Let me start by accepting what they have said. Do you remember one man called Gen. Abdulkarim Adisa? He was asked by journalist a certain time when he was minister of works that there was an allegation that all contracts in the ministry of works were given to his friends. He told them ‘fine, thank you I’m wrong, I give jobs and contracts to my friends. Wait for your time, when you become a minister then you give it to your enemies. As far as I’m concerned, I will only give it to my friends.’ that’s what he told them. And I want to say that even if you assume that I am against the General because he did not give me an appointment, don’t we deserve an appointment? Doesn’t the laborer deserve his wages? Wait for your time to come, lets see whether you would give the appointments to your enemies.
Buba Galadima had long positioned himself as the enemy of PMB, I don’t know the particular logic under which he is expecting the president to give him this appointment. It was Buba who swore that, come May 29, 2019, President Muhammadu Buhari will not be the individual to be sworn in. He said by the next Democracy Day in Nigeria, Buhari would have handed over to the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.
Everyone knows that Buba Galadima has been relegated to the background, even within the PDP, when it became clear that his utterances are in conflict with common sense. He is stranded and working hard to attract Atiku’s attention again. The man has lost out completely every where.
Some times last month, a friend and I were going to Abuja from Kaduna. We stopped at Jere to say the magrib prayers in congregation. Because we were travelers, we had wanted to take advantage of the privilege accorded those on transit, to combine their prayers. We set out to do that, only for me to discover that, Buba Galadima had moved closely to join us.
I quickly signaled to my friend to abort the prayers, and we rushed to the car. Although my friend is more knowledgeable in Islamic jurisprudence, he obliged me all the same, and asked why, in the car. When I told him why, he said, you are absolutely right.
Had we done that prayer with that man, we probably would have earned the anger of Allah, because of the many blasphemies of Buba.
Nigeria has had enough tragedies, it can not afford another catastrophe, by having a Buba Galadima as an electoral umpire. So Thank you “Injin miya”, Nigeria may be referred to as the Banana Republic, if INEC is headed by a barmy, like our own Buba.
